Priority Services Register
The Priority Services Register (PSR) is a free service that gives extra help during a power cut to people who may need it – for example people of pension age, with a disability or long-term health condition, who rely on medical equipment, who have young children, or who need information in another format. You register once with your network operator and get priority support, such as updates, hot drinks, or welfare visits in a long power cut.
How to sign up
Call 105 and ask to be added, or visit your network operator’s page on this site to find its Priority Services Register number and form. It is also worth telling your energy supplier – registering with one is meant to be shared, but check with both. Everything you need is free.
